1. We have set up a special group site with all the university professor grant groups that have been saving information sent into them (at the e-mail addresses that we asked you to send information to) so that they can upload what everyone has sent them into the correct file for the correct book volume. Each of these groups works with teachers on helping them create books from a different history time-period, the groups do not know each other & are not connected. But with this new group, we can have them all upload what everyone has sent in & Christian Michal Livingston (Christina & Michal Livingston) can start putting the books together.
2. The new updated software that we now have has automatically updated all the pictures with names that Nellie did a couple of years ago for the books, so we have the pictures & names & now just need to add the write-ups into the books. If you have any additional pictures, just get them to Nellie and if & where there is room, they can be added to the books.
3. We are looking into having the 3 volumes packaged together where you can purchase them in a set. We are also looking into setting up a blog to promote the books. Plus, additional books are in the plans.... the first families of Volney/Beaver. Nellie is collecting pictures for these also. Shaun Hill & Tammy Bromley are always working on family history books and those books are always outstanding, I got to see some of them the last time that we were in Michigan; they have already done several great books. You will have to contact them about their books. Tammy Bromley& Nellie are collecting pictures, etc. for an "all the Gleason" & "all the Giddings" books; Nellie & Hugh Conley are collecting pictures & information on "all the Newville's: Nellie & Scott Hall are collecting pictures & information on "all the Knowles" book; Nellie is working with different ones on "all the Thompson's" book and she is also working with different ones on "Way, Bellinger, Sanders, Harmon, Redman/Redding, & Dove" books. We will be helping put together all the history books that Nellie is working on & getting them ready to go to the publishers. The family history books that Nellie is working on will be put together after we finish the Volney History Books, but it has taken a few years to gather the materials & signatures for the Volney Books so they need to be gathering materials now for the family books. Thank you for everyone that is helping with these books.
4. We are also working now on having the above-mentioned books when they are published to be given to area libraries & schools. We are working on having funds for this purpose.
5. Please, read the information at the top of the Volney History Group page carefully to ensure that your write-ups & pictures get into the books. If the above is not followed, it will not go into the books. These sites will only collect materials until the end of this month. We will not be posting much on this site on the books after Sept. 30 & most everything about the books will be deleted after Sept. 30. All pictures should be from before 1985 or of person's who have passed away. Thank you.

We are in the process of pulling together our Volney - Beaver Area History Books; we are working on 3 volumes and hope to have them done by early summer. We will post updates throughout the next few months and will give you ordering information when we have it all set up.
